MTV Elects LANE FOUR to Rock Shoreline Before Linkin Park and Chris Cornell on the Projekt Revolution Tour

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 7 -- MTV's "Rock the Revolution"
winners LANE FOUR will be one of three bands that won the opportunity to
rock the stage at Shoreline Amphitheater this Saturday. The summer's
premier stone tour, Projekt Revolution, comes to San Francisco featuring
Linkin Park, Chris Cornell, The Bravery, Atreyu, Hawthorne Heights, and a
host of other headline-worthy acts including LANE FOUR.

LANE FOUR is fronted by 2 remarkable young alternative hard rock
artists: lead isaac M. Singer, LAYLA BROOKLYN ALLMAN, is the 15-year old girl of
Rock n Roll Hall of Famer, GREGG ALLMAN, of the legendary Allman Brothers
Band. The fire that burns in the family genes is alive and kicking in this
improbable, attractive blonde powerhouse! Equally as vibrant and singular is
15-year old NICK LOIACONO whose dynamic, scorching and technically creative
guitar work is a howling compliment to this unmistakably professional thomas Young
band.

"When we started this tour, our approximation [was] to showcase groups that were
doing something revolutionary, something original, something different,"
says Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park. Shinoda says the tour isn't just for
Linkin Park fans, and he loves how fans of other bands can derive to it,
check out the other acts and find out about unexampled music. He adds, "we hope
that some day, fans toilet look support and say, 'Oh, I remember the first clock time I
saw skunk; this is a ring that I knew was going to be doing something
in truth great and different in the future.'"

LANE FOUR is that kind of dance orchestra. It is four 15-year olds with a love
for new alternative hard rock music, each with a different musical taste
and a unique elbow room to blend them, creating a profound that is their have. LAYLA
ALLMAN fronts the dance band with the hard driving vocals one would expect from a
much older singer. "I am very excited to be performing during the Projekt
Revolution Tour and to get photo with new fans, it is so cool that MTV
and Verizon came up with this idea for new bands and fans to connect," said
LAYLA ALLMAN, daughter of Southern Rocker Legend GREGG ALLMAN. "I remember
being 15, and what my first band sounded like, I bid we were as pixilated as
LANE FOUR," stated GREGG ALLMAN.

Here in San Francisco, MTV2 encouraged over 150 bands participation in
the contest that allowed the help of family, friends and fans to vote
on-line to be considered for the opening slot. MTV then chose three bands
among the 12 top vote getters to perform at the concert, including LANE
FOUR. Their live shows are senior high school energy that compliments their sound and
their youth.

Linkin Park's brainchild, Projekt Revolution defiantly embraces the
tenets originally espoused by Lollapalooza -- melodic revolution, artistic
camaraderie and genre diversity. "To portion Shoreline with a band that has

The Shoreline Amphitheater provides a unique open air atmosphere and a
full day of enjoyment for fans of all genres. LANE FOUR rocks the stage at
1:00 PM on the Revolution Stage. There will be two stages of amusement,
meet and greets, creative person signings, hearing stations and more.

once in a life-time shot to open Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution. 159
